Anguil Returns to Trade Shows at Coating Trends & Technologies Conference

Comments Off on Anguil Returns to Trade Shows at Coating Trends & Technologies Conference

After a hiatus from in-person speaking events, Anguil will be presenting to attendees of the Coating Trends & Technologies trade show, taking place in Lombard, IL on September 8-9th, 2021. Coating Trends & Technologies is the Midwest’s leading coatings conference, bringing together the field’s leaders to discuss technology innovations across the industry. Anguil is a leading pollution abatement system provider in the Coating & Converting industry, particularly of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs).

On Wednesday, September 8 from 1:00-1:30pm, Anguil’s Senior Application Engineer, Jason Schueler, will be speaking on An Overview of Emission Control Equipment Features, Components and Capabilities as a part of the Coating Process Engineering Track. Coating Trends & Technologies logo

Coating companies currently required to comply with air emission regulations for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) are accustomed to the high cost of compliance. Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs) are increasingly used in a wide variety of coating applications for the destruction of VOCs, HAPs and even odors. There are features, components and unique capabilities to the RTO that coaters should understand before purchasing a new system or making modifications to an existing one. Jason’s presentation will address these topics as well as some of the process conditions and options that can affect destruction efficiency and operating costs. Jason has spent the past decade in the air pollution control industry specifically focusing on abatement systems for volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants and brings a wealth of knowledge to the topic.

Registration and Attendee Information is available on the Coating Trends & Technologies web site. Jason and Anguil’s sales team will be available for questions after his presentation. We look forward to seeing you there!

eChem Expo & Anguil Presentation

Comments Off on eChem Expo & Anguil Presentation

Different oxidizer technologies are used in various applications in the chemical industry for the destruction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and odorous emissions. No other supplier has worldwide experience with emission control applications in this industry like Anguil does.

Held every two years in Kingsport, Tennessee, eChem Expo is a one-day event packed with seminars on innovation, productivity, and sustainability for chemical processors. On April 20th – 21st 2022, Anguil personnel will be located in booth 59 of the Knowledge Center Hub. We welcome the opportunity to meet attendees to discuss their air pollution control and energy recovery needs.

During the show, William Weingart of Anguil will be presenting to attendees on the Technologies and Techniques used on rich fume, VOC control applications. Determining which oxidizer technology to apply relies on the flow, temperature, concentration, and contaminants coming from the process. Many chemical processing processes generate VOCs and HAPs that are inert or contain very little oxygen and are extremely concentrated. The same facility can also have other emission sources that produce dilute streams with plenty of oxygen but not much calorific value.

Treating both of these flows in the same oxidizer system can save a substantial amount of money in capital expenditures and operating expenses. However, combining the different emission sources does present some challenges for the abatement systems. Our presentation will examine, in detail, all the benefits and potential hurdles when destroying inert and dilute emission streams in a single abatement device using real-world examples and data. In addition, we will cover the various equipment options and maintenance recommendations specific to abatement projects in the chemical processing industry. Click here to see the seminar schedule.

Webinar: Empowering Environmental Technologies with the IIoT

Comments Off on Webinar: Empowering Environmental Technologies with the IIoT
Webinar: Empowering Environmental Technologies with the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
When: Wednesday December 2, 2020 / 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM CDT (2pm ET / 11AM PT)

Presented by Environmental Energy + Leader, Anguil Environmental is partnering with Siemens to discuss exciting developments in the world of technology and environmental equipment: Empowering Environmental Technologies with the IIoT.

What is the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)?

Anguil’s control systems already provide the safest, most efficient, and highly reliable operation while integrating smoothly into existing plant operations. Anguil is now trailblazing the technological advancement of environmental equipment with the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to improve safety, reliability, and maintenance efforts.

webinar infoThis functionality allows personnel inside and outside the plant to communicate with your abatement system using native programming and an internet connection. Real-time data logging, event reporting, and alarm notification are just some of the benefits to IIoT. It is one of the easiest ways to expedite troubleshooting, reduce downtime, and enhance the value of routine preventive maintenance.

What will you learn in this webinar?
  • How can you be sure your environmental technologies are in compliance?
  • What is the risk of not leveraging sensors and smart devices in decision making?

Manufacturing facilities are increasingly being designed with sensing devices that employ a central control system to remotely monitor and adjust equipment within the plant and beyond. The transparency provided via the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) allows companies to analyze and predict machine behavior to optimize production and processes remotely. However, there are costs, time considerations, and potential pitfalls in system selection and implementation. Plant managers, engineers, and production personnel must carefully consider safety, security, and usability of each remotely monitored device. Compliance adds another layer of complexity when talking about IIoT for environmental technologies.

This webinar will examine, in detail, all the benefits and potential hurdles that industrial facilities should evaluate when implementing remote monitoring on environmental technologies.
